Sans Souci, 240 Front Street, Belleville
(parking in the rear access to the restaurant)

Fees/Admission

Join us for our upcoming Chamber Breakfast as we welcome Lieutenant Colonel Greeley and CWO Rene Gagnon, who will share insights from their experience on Operation LENTUS, the Canadian Armed Forces’ coordinated response to natural disasters here at home.

Operation LENTUS is activated when a province or territory facing an emergency—such as wildfires, floods, ice storms, or hurricanes—requires additional support beyond its own resources. In these situations, the federal government may mobilize CAF personnel, equipment, and facilities to assist. The Operation follows a well-established framework designed to support communities in crisis and help restore essential services during some of Canada’s most challenging moments.

This breakfast offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand perspective on how the CAF responds in times of need, the realities on the ground during domestic operations, and the critical role these efforts play in strengthening community resilience.

It has been ten years since we have featured a speaker from CFB Trenton, the region’s largest employer, with more than 3,200 regular force, 600 reserve force and 500 civilian employees.

We look forward to having you join us for this informative and engaging conversation.
