A lifelong Bay of Quinte resident, Tyler Allsopp was elected as Bay of Quinte MPP in a by-election Sept. 19, 2024 and re-elected in a general election Feb. 27, 2025.
He currently serves as the Parliamentary Assistant to Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade Victor Fedeli. His portfolio includes a focus on life sciences, innovation, and emerging technologies.
Prior to running provincially, Allsopp served as councillor in the City of Belleville. A Bayside Secondary School alumnus who studied business marketing at St. Lawrence College, Allsopp spent nearly 12 years as a small business owner/operator at Doug’s Bicycle in Belleville.
Allsopp lives in Belleville with his wife Jennifer and their three daughters.

Prior to this, Stacey was the President and CEO of Headwaters Health Care Centre, where she helped to co-design the Hills of Headwaters collaborative, a first-generation Ontario Health Team.
