Prior to running provincially, Allsopp served as councillor in the City of Belleville. A Bayside Secondary School alumnus who studied business marketing at St. Lawrence College, Allsopp spent nearly 12 years as a small business owner/operator at Doug’s Bicycle in Belleville.
Allsopp lives in Belleville with his wife Jennifer and their three daughters.
