The City of Quinte West and the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce are pleased to invite you to the Frankford Roundtable

Breakfast will be served which will begin our session of discussion and engagement to improve Frankford’s ability to attract new business and residents and improve the environment for existing business owners.

The Roundtable’s aim is to develop a perspective on Frankford’s business community, its strengths, and challenges, built on local knowledge and understanding. Some key questions we are looking to explore are:

• What do you believe are the biggest challenges to attracting a skilled and talented workforce to Frankford?
• What are your suggestions to improve tourism offerings and awareness in Frankford?
• What do you feel are the biggest issues regarding municipal services and infrastructure that affect your business and/or the economic growth of Frankford?
• Are there community services missing from Frankford that impact on residents and businesses and the community’s ability to grow?

Help us answer these questions and others by attending the Frankford Roundtable session

Small Business Centre: Starter Plus Workshop in Trenton

If you are over 18 years of ages and are thinking of starting or expanding a full time business, you may be eligible for the Starter Plus grant. To qualify your business must fall into one of the three categories listed below:

• Introducing a new product or service
• Create a new process for creating or delivering a product/ service
• Introduce a new market to the region

This grant can provide up to $5,000 to offset expenses and offers training for start ups and business assistance for companies expanding. Additional program benefits include mentoring, workshops, networking, and more. Space is limited, please make sure you register.
