Did you know that 2017 is a reporting year and businesses with 20+ staff must report to the Provincial Government on whether they implemented and comply with the Employment Standard under the AODA?

This session will inform you on what you need to do to comply and how to file the report.

Also learn about the business case for hiring people with disabilities and the requirements of the Employment Standard under the AODA.  Having an inclusive workplace and an accessible organization makes good business sense.

Small Business Centre: Starter Plus Workshop – Belleville

If you are over 18 years of age and are thinking of starting or expanding a full time business, you may be eligible for the Starter Plus grant. To qualify your business must fall into one of the three categories listed below:

* Introducing a new product or service
* Create a new process for creating or delivering a product/ service
* Introduce a new market to the region

This grant can provide up to $5,000 to offset expenses and offers training for start ups and business assistance for companies expanding. Additional program benefits include mentoring, workshops, networking, and more.
