Wednesday, June 22
Virtual

This full day virtual event will feature diverse panel discussions, candid sessions and spotlights on female entrepreneurship, inclusive recovery in the workplace, women’s mental health and transitioning of women into high-demand jobs in high-demand sectors, including recruitment, retraining, retention and promotion.

This is not a women’s issue; it is an economic issue.

Ensuring women have opportunities to fully participate in Canada’s economy is essential for widespread job creation and sustained economic growth. As the most activated business network in the country we all have a key role to play in taking action, making the changes needed, empowering women and fostering stronger communities across the country.

Join women across Canada for “Restarting, Reimagining, Accelerating and Recuperating: Women in the Post-Pandemic Era” hosted by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

Get New Clients With Video: Even if you hate tech

Online

84% of people say they’ve been convinced to buy a product or service by watching a brand’s video.

In spite of this, too many small and local businesses are resisting making video for their online and social media marketing.

Why? Small business owners think they need an expensive camera, lights and microphone to make videos.

But nothing could be further from the truth. Small businesses can get started making client attracting video using a tool they already own – their smartphone. Even if they don’t want to dance. Even if they don’t sell physical products.

In this workshop you’ll learn:

• 9 places to include video on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn (I’ll be you haven’t thought of at least two of them)
• How to make videos in less time
• What to say on camera – even if you sell a service
• 3 types of faceless videos for the camera shy
