Your money beliefs come to be based on your stories — the subconscious beliefs you hold to be true about almost anything in your life. There is one area that affects us all and that is around money! You’ve heard these quotes, “Money doesn’t grow on trees”, or, “You have to cut your suit by the cloth you’re given” and we all know this one, “Money is the root of all evil”.
Are these true? Is there a deep belief that maybe they are true?
It is time to shift your “Beliefs about money”
Our beliefs are a major driving force in your experience and the results you achieve.
There’s a unique way that they impact you as a business owner, entrepreneur, artist, start up or self employed person!
During times of stress and uncertainty and growth and expansion, your stories will rise and often be a source of anxiety, erode your trust and impact your ability to effectively make decisions.
Stories like…
• Making money is really hardI have to work 24/7 to be financially successful
• Making money means sacrificing something I value
• I’ll never make enough doing what I love
• I can’t raise my rates even though they’re out of alignment
• People with money are jerks
• If I have more money, I just have more to lose
• It’s not okay to have financial success when so many are suffering
Maybe it’s time to let go of our old beliefs and create new more life affirming thoughts, behaviours and actions around money!
