The Chamber is hosting is September Breakfast with special guest speaker Loyalist College President & CEO – Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan.

On October 18th 2016 the Loyalist College Board of Governors announced the appointment of Dr Ann Marie Vaughan as the new President & CEO after a unanimous vote.

Dr. Vaughan was previously the President and Chief Executive Officer for the College of the North Atlantic, located in Newfoundland and Labrador, from 2011-2016. “Dr. Vaughan is described as a very high energy, tireless, committed leader in her efforts in putting student success first. She continuously champions the needs of Aboriginal students, students with special needs, and first generation students,” stated June Hagerman, Chair of the Loyalist College Board of Governors

More about Mike Gaudaur
Mike has been working as a photographer and photography instructor since 1980, starting out as a darkroom technician and photo journalist for a local newspaper.  Throughout the next couple of decades, he expanded his photographic skills with experience in travel, aerial, theatrical, and sports photography.  Shooting thousands of portraits and over 200 weddings has allowed him to master the art of making people comfortable in front of the camera and helping them to look their best while capturing the significant moments in their lives.

During his 14 years as a full-time photography teacher in Kenya, he was studying constantly in order to facilitate the transition from film to digital.  Along the way, he earned Certified Expert status in Photoshop from Adobe.  Utilizing his Photoshop skills and images from 70 African photo safaris he has created an extensive portfolio of fine art animal portraits and landscapes.  Returning to his home town of Trenton, Ontario, he has opened his own portrait studio and become established as an expert in artwork reproduction, photo restoration, and fine art printing on a variety of media.

Mike still loves to teach, and is a regular presenter at area camera clubs as well as teaching workshops in Photoshop, Lightroom, and lighting technique.
