28th Annual PLAR Conference

Posted on

Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) can be a powerful tool when we know how to use it and how it can work for us. For over a quarter of a century, Loyalist College’s PLAR Conference has been educating and helping people on their journey of using their knowledge and skills to reach their goals.

PLAR unlocks untapped opportunities by providing a way to identify, document, assess and recognize what a person knows, what they can do, and what they have learned from both formal and informal learning. Recognizing that this achieved learning can and should be built upon rather than re-taught, we are opening the floor to PLAR practitioners and advocates to speak on a variety of PLAR applications.

A unique opportunity for Educators, Job Seekers, Career Counsellors, and Employers to discover how PLAR can positively influence the careers and over all well-bring of your clients and employees.

Start:  8:00 AM
End:   4:30  PM
Location:  Travelodge Hotel, Belleville
